LL-37 is a 37-residue cationic antimicrobial peptide of 37 amino acids. Brands also use the names LL37, hCAP18-derived antimicrobial peptide, C-terminal fragment of human cathelicidin. The C-terminal 37-amino-acid peptide released from the human cathelicidin precursor hCAP18, encoded by the CAMP gene.
